China - the country extraordinary interesting to tourism. Its natural contrasts, a kaleidoscope of noisy cities, the ancient history, rich culture and traditions can become an occasion for not one long fascinating travel here. The wild desert Gobi, the snow-covered Everest, the Great Wall, buddistskie temples, beaches of Hainan, fantastic Shanghai with its unique east color, and more is a lot of everything, but first of all, certainly, capital of Heavenly Empire - Beijing.
Beijing - a tremendous city, a huge megacity with the growing skyscrapers, thus saving atmosphere of ancient capital with its temples, palaces, parks and culture monuments. To examine at least a small share of places of interest of Beijing, some days is required. Where to go first of all?
The forbidden city is the biggest palace complex in the world (720 thousand sq.). Throughout 500 years it was capital of Heavenly Empire, 24 emperors of dynasties of Mines (1368-1644) and Cin (1644-1911) from here corrected. The forbidden city has been constructed in 1406-1420. The palace complex totals 9999 rooms, it is surrounded with a wall in length of 3400 m and a ditch with «Gold water». Now in a forbidden city there is a museum of Gugun in which imperial treasures, including unique collections of hours and puppets are collected. The museum owns the world's largest meeting of various Chinese painting, a magnificent collection of porcelain, ancient ritual bronze, carved products from a stone, varnishes, enamels, samples of an embroidery and weaving, rare books and documents.
The temple of the Sky (Tjan Tan) - the major temple complex of China (occupies the space more than 267 hectares), the present pearl of architecture of a dynasty of Minute the Sky Temple has been constructed in 1420, at emperor JunLe. For ancient Chineses the Sky was the highest deity operating the world. In the Sky Temple uplifted the prayers emperors, and divine service ceremony represented difficult mnogoetapnoe action.
