Another was surprising: factory (let with percent of the consulting companies) the prices for production, as a rule, did not differ from my results of search in the Internet, and in some cases exceeded it. Certainly, at the first inquiry the price from Chineses is always overestimated, but even the subsequent negotiations (them the consulting company spent) have not led to essential results. Accordingly, after several attempts (on different commodity positions) we have stopped cooperation, because our further teamwork was expenditure of time both for me, and for the consulting company
However, the basic conclusions were very useful.
Advantages of work with the consulting companies:
· They are in China, and can find those who is not present on the Internet
· After preliminary preparation work quickly enough, money for search do not take (at least, in my case)
Lacks:
· preliminary preparation Is required: it is necessary to explain characteristics of the goods to the manager, he will explain to the Chinese. Any link of a chain can misunderstand you
· you hardly learn the Real price for production - the consulting company takes the percent from order cost
· Not always it is possible to communicate to Chineses, to look their site and to be convinced that they real manufacturers
· the Most important thing: in the price you hardly will win
One more important point. Yes, the consulting companies will find those who is not present on the Internet, but whether such manufacturers are necessary to you? It is much more interesting to work with the serious companies which are focused on the world market. Especially, by means of a site it is possible to understand much about the Chinese firm.
In different branches and at work with the different consulting companies of a detail can differ, but I have stated main principles.
